This makes it risky to follow dog training techniques seen on television especially physical techniques such as <a href=\"http:\/\/shibashake.com\/dog\/3-dog-training-techniques#leash-correction\">leash jerks<\/a>, alpha rolls, and finger jabs (otherwise called the <a href=\"http:\/\/shibashake.com\/dog\/the-squirrel-instinct-can-it-be-retrained#magical_touch\">&#8216;no-pain&#8217; magical touch<\/a>).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This article shows how looking at a single dog picture is not enough to see what is truly going on. When it comes to dog training, context is extremely important, and single pictures or even edited television clips are insufficient to convey all the relevant information.
