by shibashake Leave a Comment

Shiba Inu Diary – Sephy hates taking baths in the bathtub. He does not like confined spaces, especially when it is also wet and strange. Ultimately, it just makes more sense to give Shiba Sephy his bath in the backyard. We also made it into a fun chasing game and now Sephy loves bath time.

Shiba Diary – Nail Clipping

by shibashake Leave a Comment

Shiba Inu Diary – Sephy’s first experience with nail cutting. It did not go very well because we cut into the quick of the nail and Shiba Sephy started bleeding. A nail grinder allows us to slowly file down the nail so there is very little chance of hitting the quick.

Shiba Diary – Alpha Rolls

by shibashake Leave a Comment

Shiba Inu Diary – Sephy’s first experience and opinion of the alpha-roll technique. Alpha rolls are very risky, causes a lot of stress, and may cause a dog to bite.
