Thief Shiba, We Hates It, We Hates It Forever!
Shiba Inus are bred to hunt and they love chasing games. It doesn’t take too long for a Shiba to learn that stealing a toy and running away with it will usually start a fun chase around the house, or in the park and beach. The chase game rewards a Shiba’s thieving behavior which causes him to continue stealing. Here we consider how to stop a thief Shiba and turn him into a good citizen (well maybe not good but not-so-bad citizen).
Embarrassed by My Dog
When I got my first dog, I was constantly embarrassed by him. He was very hyper and very stubborn, so training him was a challenge. Whenever he misbehaved in public, I would get embarrassed because his bad behavior reflected poorly on me and my dog parenting skills. The more embarrassed I got, the more crazy my dog became.
